Mimetism

History of the company

Mimetism was founded in 2004 by William Andrea (Manager - Research and Development - Export) and Yvan Coderey (Design - Development and Manufacture, Swiss Made).
William Andrea is not a newcomer in the world of high end audio as he spent his atypical career working with a number of specialized companies, starting with SUPRAVOX where he built active speakers for the French Television (ORTF). Then he designed and assembled the Nuance and Plenitude amplifier and preamplifier for FAMCO (French AMerican COmpany). Then the P-UN preamplifier and the PP-UN phono preamplifier for YVES COCHET. Then he joined PHLOX electronique where he participated to the development of the YBA products. During a short break, William learnt digital signal processing, designing weather stations for PULSONIC. Finally, he joined VECTEUR where he designed the reknowned Club Twelve, then the I-4.2, I-6.2, P-6, A-6 and the L 4.2 CD player, still references as of today.

Yvan Coderey lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he owns L'AUDIOPHILE SA, one of the reference stereo gear retailers in the area. His long standing passion for sound and design led him to build his own specific supports and furniture for audio gear, distributed in France under the VECTEUR brand. This is how he met William Andrea, whom he introduced to the digital processing experts from ANAGRAM TECHNOLOGIES.

MIMETISM'S products and concepts are born from a close collaboration between Swiss and French companies.
The PCB's are manufactured in Switzerland.
Final assembly and tests are all performed in France at William Andrea's company, ASM (Audio System Manufacturing).
